LuAnn started working for LaPorte City Insurance Agency in 1975 after graduating from American Institute of Business in Des Moines. She is a licensed Producer in Crop, Life and Health, Personal Lines, Property and Casualty.
As an Independent Insurance Agent representing multiple insurance companies, choosing the company and coverage that best fits the client's needs is an important part of the insurance application process. Servicing clients with their policies and assisting in filing claims are a major role in the agency's daily routine.
Her emphasis is in the Commercial area developing insurance solutions for the small town business and rural farming operations. She has been active in Crop Insurance sales and serving since 1988 when the sales process was transferred from the federal government to the insurance agent.
She and her husband live on a farm near La Porte City. Her husband farms and they have 3 daughters and 3 granddaughters. She is full time church organist and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
