PDCM is excited to welcome Kaylee Vette to our team as the new Wellness Coordinator. Kaylee will be responsible for supporting the Employee Benefits division of PDCM Insurance and their clients by developing, organizing, and assessing wellness programming.

Prior to joining PDCM, Kaylee was the Health and Wellness Services Director at the YWCA Black Hawk County. She also has experience in personal training, programming group fitness, and nutrition education.

Kaylee was born and raised in Waverly, IA, where she later attended Wartburg College to study Fitness Management with a minor in Psychology and Leadership. She is most excited about the opportunities that her new position as Wellness Coordinator will allow her to provide our PDCM clients with an educational component to their health journeys. She is currently working to obtain her Masters in Public Health, which will be helpful as she focuses on whole-health wellness and understanding policies with clients.

Outside of work, Kaylee enjoys being active with her family. She and her husband, Clayton, have two sons, McCoy and August, and a dog named Gertrude.

Get to know Kaylee:

What are some fun facts about you? One fun fact is that we lived in 5 countries in Europe over the course of 8 years after graduating from college. My husband signed to play professional basketball in Belgium, so we got engaged and moved there. We were there for 8 years total, and after all of the unknowns that came with COVID, we decided to move back to the area.

What is the best book you’ve recently read or TV show you’ve binged? When I don’t have homework, I try to binge Working Moms on Netflix – the crude Canadian humor is great and relatable in a lot of aspects.

Major fan of any sports team? We mostly watch college sports – We are Iowa State fans.

What food can you not live without? Chocolate.

What’s the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time? I really love documentaries about national parks and/or animals, and I’m getting my three year old into watching it with me.
