PDCM Welcomes Jordyn Beranek

PDCM is excited to welcome Jordyn Beranek to our Commercial Lines team! Jordyn will serve as an account manager, where her specialties include everything from trucking to manufacturers and contractors. In her previous position with Brummel Madsen, Jordyn earned three years of experience working on a variety of accounts.

While originally from Rice Lake, Wisconsin, Jordyn got her degree from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, and completed her Masters at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. After making her way to Iowa, Jordyn has bought a home with her partner, Joel, and they are raising a mini dachshund named Iris together.

Get to know more about Jordyn:

What do you like to do outside of work? I am really into DIY crafting. I have a 100-year-old house that I am working on right now, and we’re currently redoing the kitchen. When it’s nice out, I like to garden. I also moonlight as the music director at Cedar Heights Community Presbyterian Church.

What is something most people don’t know about you? When I was a little girl, I spoke with an English accent due to hearing problems.

Coffee or tea? It depends on my mood – but probably coffee, because I’m an espresso nut.

Major fan of any sports team? The Packers.

What are three items you would bring on a desert island? Sunscreen, drinkable water and phone to call for help.

What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time? I enjoy playing Stardew Valley – it’s a farming simulation game that is relaxing.
