John Monaghan joined PDCM Insurance after a successful merger with his company in January of 2013.
Shortly after his graduation from Mount Mercy University John joined the employee benefits arena as a underwriter and health insurance consultant. John has worked as a benefits consultant for over 25 years.
John is a recognized expert in implementation of results-based wellness programs and routinely speaks at national benefits consulting conferences. John's specialties include employee benefits consulting for larger employers, especially those that are self-funded or looking for alternative financing options such as medical captives.
John enjoys staying active in the Cedar Valley community, where he has served on a variety of non-profit agency boards. Currently, he serves with the Board of Directors for Exceptional Persons, Inc.
Outside of the office, John enjoys traveling with his 4 children as well as hiking, golfing, and working on his cabin in Northeast Iowa.
