Chris Fereday originally joined PDCM in 2001 as an Associate and was later promoted to Partner and promoted again to President and CEO. Chris began his career as a consultant at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Chris has more than 25 years of risk management and corporate insurance advisory experience. He plays a significant role in the ongoing management of PDCM and in all facets of the firm’s activities. As CEO, Chris’s vision for the company focuses on client experience, corporate culture & growth while promoting a top workplace in Iowa. Chris received his B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame. He is a Certified Risk Manager (CRM). Chris is very involved in the community as he serves as President of the Board of Directors of Grow Cedar Valley and President of the Exceptional Person’s Foundation Board. Chris has also served on the board of the Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa, the Waterloo Industrial Development Association, and the Hawkeye Community College Foundation. Chris has been recognized as an Emerging Leader by the Cedar Valley United Way and has been selected as a Cedar Valley "20 Under 40" recipient by the Waterloo Courier. In addition, Chris has served as the Executive Director of the Waterloo Junior Golf Association and is a coach for youth basketball. Chris is also a member of YPO. Chris is married to Megan, an attorney, and they have one daughter and one son.
