Chris Fereday joined PDCM in 2001 as an Associate and has since advanced through the organization, serving as Partner before being named President and Chief Executive Officer. He began his career as a consultant with Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. and brings more than 30 years of experience in risk management and corporate insurance advisory services.
As CEO, Chris provides strategic leadership across all facets of PDCM’s operations, with a strong focus on enhancing the client experience, fostering a high-performing corporate culture, and driving sustainable growth. He is committed to maintaining PDCM’s reputation as a top workplace in Iowa.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame and holds the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation.
He is actively engaged in the community, currently serving as President of the Board of Directors for Grow Cedar Valley and President of the Board for the Exceptional Persons Foundation. His past board service includes Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa, the Waterloo Industrial Development Association, and the Hawkeye Community College Foundation. Chris has been recognized as an Emerging Leader by the Cedar Valley United Way and as a “20 Under 40” honoree by the Waterloo Courier.
In addition, he has served as Executive Director of the Waterloo Junior Golf Association and remains involved in youth athletics as a basketball coach. He is also a member of YPO.
Chris and his wife, Megan, an attorney, have two children.
