Bill is a U.S. Navy veteran with nearly 25 years of service. Retiring in 2004. Bill Specialize in Law Enforcement during his time with the Navy and served primarily as a Criminal Investigator. He was a Command Trainer in the areas of Legal ethics, Interview techniques and crime scene processing. He also conducted Navy Rights and Responsibilities training. He held the position as Command Managed Equal Opportunity Office head. He was designated to the position of Security Officer for the Naval Station Rodman Panama, Republic of Panama for 6 months until it’s closing in April of 1999. His most noted position was Chief of Nuclear Security, while out on a practice drill when the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks occurred in New York.
Bill worked in the safety field upon his retirement for over 8 years. He systematically worked to provide additional ideas to create a value added benefit to the clients. He quickly sought out certifications for OSHA General Industry and Construction 30 hour classes. The topics of training are varied and he has hands on experience with most types of equipment utilized in General industry and Construction. He has attended Scott Community College Health Safety and Environmental Technology certificate courses. He attended Florida State University and Maryland University in Panama, Republic of Panama where he live for 5 years.
He is bilingual speaking Spanish and has presented safety courses in Spanish. In 2009 after just three years he applied for OSHA 500 and 501 outreach instructor training. He now holds dual instructor qualifications to teach both the 10-30 hour course for General Industry and Construction. Bill has written over 500 Machine Specific Lock Out Tag Outs for various clients and conducted 5000 hours of Safety Instruction and over 5000 hours of Inspections in the last 8 years. He also has experience in the area of ambient air quality testing for welding fume, styrene, hexchrom and CO among the primary area of testing. He also conducts sound level surveys and Dosimeter testing for hazardous noise environments.
